According to the Comscore search report for June, Google had 10.29 billion searches. Google has said in the past that about 20% of all searches have local intent so that would mean that over 2 billion searches in the U.S. on Google’s main search site in June were local in nature.
If you extrapolate that to all of the search engines, you’ve got over 3 billion local searches.
What have you done as a small business owner to take advantage of these huge numbers?
