The color of your button does matter

landing_page45Recently, the folks over at Mozilla ran a test on the color of their Firefox download button and the results moved the needle substantially.

The winning color increased conversion by 1%.  That doesn’t sound like a lot, but for a mega-brand like Firefox, that means an additional 2 million downloads annually.

So test, test, test.  Those incremental improvements can really add up.
