Google is taking input on which issues matter most to webmasters
Posted by admin in Google, Link Building
Google has set up a page in their product ideas area where you can vote yes, no or skip on various ideas for improvements to the Webmaster Central tools.
Here are some samples of the ideas that you can vote on:
- It is common that even though our Sitemaps contain valid URLs, the number of “Indexed URLs in Sitemap” is less than the “Total URLs in Sitemap”. To help us fix our websites, please provide feedback information on why Sitemap URLs are not indexed.
- Send any violation (which page ,which link, which line “HTML”) to the webmaster’s e-mail”
- Provide more transparency regarding the URLs you have crawled (or requested). I often see spikes in the Crawl Stats graphs that I don’t understand, especially when the “Pages crawled per day” shows a High value of 13 pages… on my 4-page site?”
- Show me which pages are marked as duplicate content within my domain.
So head over to Product Ideas for Webmaster Central and vote today. The voting will only be open until July 23, 2009.
