Google Changes Sitelinks and Adds Them to Multiple Search Results

Google has made a major change to sitelinks. Sitelinks are a way to highlight sections of your website that Google thinks have some importance and usefulness to searchers. Sitelinks used to appear stacked in two columns below the first search result.

Now site links will appear as a single row below the first few search results.

This will give more sites a chance of getting the benefit of deeper access to your site right from a Google search result. Google also says that they expect your site to show the site links for more queries than they have in the past.

Remember that you can block certain pages of your site from appearing as sitelinks in Google Webmaster Tools.
